The customer is at the heart of everything we do. The quality experience at Eskomatic starts when the customer compares supplier options. Eskomatic quality comes from the professionalism of our staff. With the Eskomatic Academy measuring training, we ensure that all our measuring staff know how to use and measure with hand-held measuring instruments. Geometric product definition (GPS – tolerances and surface roughness) is trained for machinists to understand customer drawings and dimensions. At the quotation stage, our machinists and methodical specialists support our sales team in determining the best and most productive way to manufacture parts and assemblies. In production, we use CAD/CAM, CNC editing and machine simulation software.
If required, we can produce various quality documents at the request of the customer. Measurement results taken during machining are used in real time for statistical process control and the records are compiled into measurement reports.
Fact-based statistical analysis provides the basis for developing and continuously improving our operations. If necessary, we monitor critical parameters for the customer by carrying out a capability analysis of the process. Gage R&R studies provide us with information on the variation caused by the measuring instruments used for the parameters. This ensures that a sufficiently accurate measuring instrument is used. For risk assessment and control of the production process, we use the PFMEA and Control Plan tools.
Eskomatic’s Lean Management’s main mission is to streamline the work done in production, to be there where it happens and to help employees solve problems immediately. With Poka Yoke, we aim to prevent mistakes wherever possible. In this way, we get the products to our customers with the promised quality and within the agreed delivery time.
